Applying QQR technique helps model how distributions affect growth. quantile cointegration tests reveal indicate that has stronger negative effect lower middle tails Brazil while having positive Russia, China South Africa. For India, tail higher These are consistent with regression results. Further analysis from Granger causality-in-quantiles shows at various quantiles, bidirectional causal exists China, unidirectional causality runs India. No was found Russia implications discussed.
